¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!

We're in the third-to-last course week of this Lanzarote season🤷🤦… oh man, how time flies…

This week we went straight out again on Sunday evening. We headed to our Pechos – we still had 45 minutes until sunset, the conditions were totally relaxed: What could be better than driving to the slope straight from the plane, calmly unpacking your wing and flying straight down🤘😍💯

Monday morning we got straight into our basic briefing: preparing the wing in wind, keeping the wing steady, mastering awkward situations. After the lunch break it was flying again – at the Pechos again…

Tuesday morning – an individual programme of choice depending on skill level: either training on the ground or going flying. Rüdiger, by now a permanent member of our coastal pilots family, was finally able to convince himself that the Risco de Famara is not a myth, not a projection, not a hologram or a screen: kited up at the Pechos, took off and then simply flew the 28 kilometres to the Mirador del Río and back in 1 1/2 hours! 💯🤘😍😎👍

Hubert and Guy also flew all the way into the Risco and back…

A special highlight (besides those mentioned) for me was also the fact that Matze is here with me right after getting his A-licence, that he too handled his way up the Pechos and flew back and forth between the two Pechos. I quickly unpacked my wing, went after him, past him and flew the line ahead… Result: practically straight after his A-licence, he flew the B-licence cross-country route! We were above the Atlantic at Risco de Famara – together with Rüdiger, Hubert and Guy – Incredible!!!

Yesterday the same again… 💯🤘😎 simply mega good again this week!!! Thank you, island!

AND – THANK YOU, TEAM!!! In terms of flying and people, this week is once again exactly what makes us do this the way we do it here, and motivates us to carry on! Thanks, folks! Our family has grown again last week and this week, and has become even stronger… 😍🤘💯😎

On the technical side, we've kept bringing new things in every week and have expanded and improved our concept – and I'm all the more delighted about your exclusively great feedback on it!

Next week we're course-free again – after that there are two more weeks and then we slowly head towards Germany…

At the end of the week we're putting the course weeks for the Lanzarote 2025/2026 season online!

As well as our joint trip to the dune in the Netherlands, because we were asked to offer our training there too… Of course we'll do that for you!

Today it's gusting up to 75 km/h here and we're not doing anything with the wing… 😂😎 But tomorrow and the day after we're heading out again… I'll report next week… With that in mind: ¡Saludos y hasta la próxima semana chicos!

Kai and the coastal pilots family 😍🤘💯😎😘
