SO TRAINIEREN WIR · S.P.T. RULES

This is content from our supervised training – not instructions for trying things out on your own.

  1. 2 Stay cool If something deviates from the plan: stay cool and work with what is actually and really there right now.
  2. 4 The 2-second rule The effect of your input on the system arrives with a delay.
  3. 7 Don't correct what hasn't happened yet Act in the here and now – not on your idea of what the system is about to do.
  4. 10 Trust your equipment and YOURSELF! You are part of the system that wants to fly!
  5. 13 If you DON'T decide, it's definitely going to go to sh… Make your decisions and work with the consequences – keep going until the flight is safely over, and reflect afterwards.

  1. 1 Easy there Calmly and unemotionally make a flight plan – including reading the terrain for the prevailing conditions.
  2. 2 Stay cool If something deviates from the plan: stay cool and work with what is actually and really there right now.
  3. 3 YOU are the pendulum You hang under the wing and swing with it. Work with the pendulum, not against it. On the ground it's a simple pendulum, in flight a double one.
  4. 4 The 2-second rule The effect of your input on the system arrives with a delay.
  5. 5 Wing dynamics <-> brake line Match the speed of pulling and releasing to the dynamics of the pendulum.
  6. 6 Use the effective brake travel The first 30 % of the brake travel are the most effective – use them wisely, don't waste them.
  7. 7 Don't correct what hasn't happened yet Act in the here and now – not on your idea of what the system is about to do.
  8. 8 The first problem is the small one As soon as the pendulum is activated, the system gets extra energy.
  9. 9 Pilot in COMMAND Lead the system consciously – with guided pulling and, above all, guided releasing!
  10. 10 Trust your equipment and YOURSELF! You are part of the system that wants to fly!
  11. 11 Accept, go with it, take control or hand it over for a moment The system has to make certain movements in the pendulum – whether you like it or not. ;-)
  12. 12 Observe the system, lead and/or go with it, stop, RELEASE Put the focus on a guided RELEASE for once, instead of on pulling.
  13. 13 If you DON'T decide, it's definitely going to go to sh… Make your decisions and work with the consequences – keep going until the flight is safely over, and reflect afterwards.
  14. 14 I have it! Let your coaches remote-control you at the right moment, without bringing in your own experience. Then take the system back over.
  15. 15 Borrow energy and give it back to the system Every pull is followed by a CONSCIOUS and GUIDED RELEASE.
  16. 16 Glide into flight! Not with force, but softly and with feel into the flight.

Warum I

Soaring ist mehr

  • Soaring ist keine „Notlösung“
  • Soaring nicht nur an der Küste
  • Sport
  • Familientauglich
  • Lifestyle

Warum IV

Kleine Schirme machen dich besser

    To the deep dive

TRAININGSINHALT

DAS WICHTIGSTE BEIM START

Tief – Hoch – Tief – Hoch – Tief – Hoch!

– Heli, Lanzarote,

SO ARBEITEN WIR

Viel selbst machen.

– Kai

ENDLICH FREI FLIEGEN.

Im Winter auf Lanzarote, im Sommer an Europas Küsten. Am Boden lernen, in der Luft ankommen.
