¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Last week and this week too, the weather here has been completely untypical! A few days ago incredible amounts of water came crashing down on the island! However – on the other side of the island – a full 10 kilometres behind us… It was truly unbelievable. Thanks for all the messages asking whether we're okay – we were completely spared!
What we're not being spared is the strong wind that has been dominating the whole island for days… this week's team has really caught one of the worst weeks weather-wise ever here on the island… still, we managed to get into the air once briefly in the evening at the Pechos. And training with the small wings is possible pretty much once a day too – at least… only flying is still up in the stars…
We're simply hoping we'll still find a window. The forecasts keep changing too and we just have to react spontaneously to the current conditions – Annalena and I are giving it our best! And until then we keep training in 35-50 km/h of wind and consolidating the partly new techniques for the coming season with our team…
We have one more week in our Lanzarote season – then it's back to Germany…
After we published the course weeks for our 2025/26 season last week, the first bookings have already come in! Many, many thanks for your support and your interest in our “training camp”!!!
We're also just finishing our new paragliding trip to the Netherlands! We'll let you know, and we're sure our training concept will be just as successful in the Netherlands as it is here and in Denmark! We're going full throttle with you and for you, so you can unpack your wing more often, feel comfortable with it, and everything is safe and fun!
