¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
The new crew was already complete by Sunday lunchtime. So: 4 pm on arrival day, off to Tenesar with small wings! 40 km/h wind on “our little black handling beach.” The focus: learning new techniques, understanding the system, training training training…
Monday – 45 km/h wind! Training with the small wings again… We're out for 4 hours and pretty knackered in the evening, but happy.
Tuesday – some go flying in Orzola. We decide to train on the beach at Arrieta again and gamble on an evening soaring flight at Mala… Unfortunately it was just 5 km/h too much…
Yesterday and today – SE wind – that means Playa Quemada and Macher. We fly at Playa Quemada at midday and again at Macher in the evening before sunset – finally! 😍💯
This morning we landed at Macher. It's flying thermically…
The remaining days promise good conditions:
We're getting more north and can hopefully head to Famara or Tenesar again – or do our favourite evening soaring in El Cuchillo! 😍🤘💯 it's looking good!
On the side, preparations are already under way for the next course week, along with further improvements to our Casa-la-Costa😍💯🤘 Thanks to Marcus and “Küken”, who are taking the lead and getting it done while we're out flying and training! ❤
Apart from that, we're doing very well here as always and the weather is as always: 20 degrees and pure sunshine during the day, evenings such that we sit outside in long clothes – but we do sit outside 💯🤘😎
We're sending you warm, sunny greetings to wherever you are, and we'll read each other again next week😎💯
¡Saludos y hasta la próxima semana!
Your islanders 🤘💯😎😍
