FLA46.25: Hiking, Las Nieves sundowner, storm and Risco de Famara to finish
· by Kai Kessler
¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Heli and I are having our first joint course week FLA46.25 here on the island – and we love it! And it's a week with everything: To kick off, we went to our new groundhandling area with small wings. Building up, expanding and improving body movement, coordination, understanding and feel…
On the second day we climbed a volcano – 370 metres of ascent – great view, unfortunately little wind. We'd already flown there last Friday – an hour of morning soaring at sunrise – awesome! Heli and I are discovering the island together all over again, and in a completely new way 😍💯😎
Yesterday there was only a short groundhandling session with the small wings – since then the wind has been blasting here at 70-75 km/h… Maybe we'll head to the Pechos again this evening…🤷 HOWEVER: after a front like this, the Famara ridge usually works…
We expect our great participants will be able to play, kite up and fly at the Pechos over the next two days, and that Risco de Famara will be fully flyable again… We'll see – we'll report back next week…
The mood here in Lanzarote week FLA46.25 is mega! Delicious food, lots of laughter, lots of learning and understanding in a relaxed atmosphere (opens in a new tab). Just as it's meant and wished to be…
The next course weeks are fully booked apart from a few remaining places – thank you so much for that, and we look forward to seeing you here!!!
Have a good time wherever you are – and as we always say here: “SEE YOU SOON!”💯🤘😎
¡Saludos y hasta pronto!
Lisa, Sandra, Heli & Kai
