FLA47.25: A magnificent finish to the last course week, now: training – flying – more training
· by Kai Kessler
¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
The last course week came to a phenomenal end… launching at the Pechos and in Chimidas with sundowner flights down to Famara Beach💯😎🤘 Heli guided the team to exactly where that was possible. Thank you for your enthusiasm and the mega good feedback on how we run the course together and the commitment we put in!!!
Our current course has been given a superb training week by the island.
For the first two days we were on the coast in a lovely northerly wind for groundhandling with big and small wings. Everyone improved considerably in terms of understanding the system, feel for the wing and their body movement within the system💯🤘😎 very, very cool, folks!
Yesterday morning we drove to Tenesar… It was flyable above the Atlantic non-stop from morning until afternoon. The whole team was in the air for a long time – some of them even twice😎 In between, Heli let one or two of them feel pitching, rolling and wingovers in the tandem. Megaaaaaaaa!!!!
Later we headed to El Cuchillo for the evening flight – another 1 – 1 1/2 hours of sundowner soaring in the crater😍🤘💯😎 what a day!
This morning we went to Mala… we'll probably stay all day…
This morning we split the course: Heli is working on further new groundhandling approaches and methods with one group, and I was at the launch site in Mala with the other part of the team – everyone gets picked up and looked after here 💯😎😂🤘
The next few days look like wind again for more training – matching our team's focus this week 😎
The last remaining places for our first series are almost all gone too! Many, many thanks for your interest and the incredibly great feedback we're getting!!! We're staying here, carrying on and keeping you in the loop😎💯😍
¡Saludos y hasta pronto!
Lisa, Sandra, Heli, Kai and the rest of the family 💯😘
