FLA48.25: Lots of wind – lots of training… Flying in Mala, handling in the crater 😎
· by Kai Kessler
¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Our last week ended with plenty of wind, so we were still able to do a handling session on the beach at Orzola… the progress our participants made was truly impressive… thank you for your commitment – that's what makes it fun!
On Saturday Heli did another session on the simulator for flight manoeuvres and showed how to quickly and easily check or correct the trim of your own wing… Megaaaaaaaa 😎💯😍
This week has had more wind right from the start. Still, some of us got some really good flying in at Mala at the beginning of the week… Our focus this week is definitely more on training. For the first time we drove into the crater of El Cuchillo to do some groundhandling there, while the wind was blasting overhead at 45 km/h… What an experience!
This morning we were out early in Tenesar in 45 km/h of wind… then we drove on to Orzola. Tonight another handling session in – no idea where… we'll find somewhere. And from tomorrow it should be flying for us in Tenesar, according to the current forecasts…
All in all, apart from yesterday we've been out training every single day again. If the team gets to fly at the weekend too, that makes it the fourth good week in a row… that's how it should be…
The mood here at the villa (opens in a new tab) is as great as ever and our training keeps evolving from week to week… Heli and I are a really well-oiled team by now and keep pushing each other forward – “awesome stuff!”💯😎😍
For the spontaneous among you, we spontaneously have two last places left for our next week starting Sunday!!!
We hope you're having a good time – wherever you are – and send our warmest greetings… We're still here under the wing for you and say:
¡Saludos y hasta pronto amigos!
Lisa, Sandra, Heli and Kai 💯😎🤘😘
