¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
We finished last week in Orzola – half the crew launched there and flew out over the Atlantic along the impressive rock face… 😍💯🤘😎 The others stood on the sandy beach with an unbelievably intense grin on their faces, because the training effects of the past week were just as grandiose!
Accordingly, saying goodbye at the villa was relatively hard and emotional for some… BUT – we ALWAYS say goodbye with: “SEE YOU IN A BIT!” – that simply feels better…….❤️😎🤘💯 And besides, we’re here for many more weeks….😍🤘💯😎
The current week FLA49.25 initially had lots of wind in the forecast… Still, we were out training twice a day – and with really great progress in understanding the system of pilot/wing/wind/terrain. So much so that on Tuesday evening Jörg had already launched in Orzola and flown for over an hour, and Kai (NOT ME!😂😎) simply Kai-ted into the slope and soared up. Awesome!!! 💯😎🤘😍
Yesterday there was really intensive “Heli input” at the Casa again. I’m currently in my mandatory flight instructor refresher training…🤘💯😎 From tomorrow the forecast looks like flying for the rest of the course – true to the motto: first the training, then applying it and playing with it, with the effect of “Whoa, it actually WORKS!?!”😂💯😎🤘
Let’s see what else happens this week… The crew and we are extremely motivated in any case and will report back…
Another highlight this week was that dear “Edel” from the restaurant “Peterchens Mondfahrt” on the Wasserkuppe visited us at our Casa😎💯😘 Thank you for that!!! AND – Holger has arrived and is strengthening our team for two weeks… All in all – it’s running! 💯🤘😍😎
Today more input on the simulator and from tomorrow it should be off to Mala, Macher and/or Playa Quemada to fly… Heli leads the crew to the right spot and then: ¡Vamos a volar chicos! 💯🤘😎
Thank you for your interest and your trust in us here – the courses are practically fully booked…!?! Megaaaaaaaaaa😍😍🤘🤘😘😘 And – several repeat pilots have announced themselves for next week… Thank you thank you thank you!!!
We’re having a really good time and keep developing further every week – that’s what makes all this such fun! We hope you’re doing well too – wherever you are…
