FLA5.26: Still every course week a success on the “GREEN ISLAND”

¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!

Lanzarote is glowing green… 🤷😂🤦 For those who know the island, that often means unfamiliar new sights. The weather here lets us train and fly every day at 20 degrees in the sunshine – and in between a bit of “sea spray” (😂😎🤘💯) keeps coming through and gives the ground the moisture it needs, so that every kind of plant is sprouting from the soil and covering the whole island in green…

So – and now to the flying side of the current week:

Things are going really insanely well for us here – we’ve got a whole week of Risco de Famara / Pechos!!! It started on Monday morning with harness adjustments and the first flight of the week from the 600-metre cliff of Las Nieves down to the beach at Famara💯🤘😎😍 The perfect start to the week…

Since then we’ve been driving pretty much every day to “our” beloved Pechos – the small hills at the landing field of the approx. 25 km long Risco de Famara. Here at our “playground” there’s something for everyone – handling with big or small wings, “Kai-ting” up the hill, small flights, big flights, cross-country flights… 💯🤘😎 Bombastic!

And that’s exactly how it’s been for the rest of the week so far: whoever wanted to train, trained. Since Steffen is here for his second week, Matthias is here for the second time and Daniel had already spent a week with me at the dune in “Holland”, everything was quickly possible… ¡muy bien chicos! 💯🤘😍😎

FLA5.26: Pechos and then off into the Risco…

Steffen and Sandra took off together at the Pechos yesterday and then – off they went into the Risco💯😍😎🤘 Awesome!!! Matthias was already there before them and Holger and I followed… The rest of the crew stayed at the Pechos – all awesome! That’s how it’s fun!!! Jens volunteered to be the bus driver – so I got to fly into the Risco together with my course partner Holger for the first time… THANK YOU JENS!!!

Today it’s the Pechos again… I’ll report back…

In the breaks between flying, Jens, Micha and our core team have been working on the Casa… oh man – thank you thank you thank you!!! You’re simply the best!!!

Today and tomorrow look quite “nice” for flying for the pilots of week FLA5.26… Maybe we’ll even head to Tenesar or El Cuchillo… We’ll see – you’ll read about it… have a good time and enjoy the photos from the Green Island 💯🤘😎
