FLA51.25: Storm, waves, wind – training and flying all the same
· by Kai Kessler
¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Last weekend the weather here really went wild: 6–7 metre waves, 70 km/h wind, showers every now and then…
And yet – the first participants of our new crew flew with us in Tenesar on Sunday evening, shortly after arriving😎💯🤘
On Monday the current week FLA51.25 brought training in a decent wind with the small and big wings.
On Tuesday we were at the Pechos: our crew had brought their skills to the point where pretty much everyone was able to handle and kite up the Pechos and get into the air to fly…!!!😍🤘💯😎 ¡muy bien amigos!
Yesterday there were showers again and again and lots of wind – so – early risers had the advantage: at sunrise, in 40/45 km/h wind, we worked on body coordination and movement skills with the small paragliders… 💯😎
In the evening we went back to the crater of El Cuchillo for 2 hours of handling, while at the start approx. 60 km/h of wind was still firing over the crater… 😎💯🤘
We were in El Cuchillo this morning too… Mega good… and now – we’re getting ready to fly in Tenesar.
For tomorrow the forecast promises a full day in Famara…😍😎🤘 we’ll see…
We wish you wonderful Christmas days from the island, and otherwise all the very best imaginable and simply the best!
We’re staying here and carrying on… ¡Saludos y hasta la próxima semana!
Lisa, Sandra, Heli, Rüdi and Kai 😎🤘😘💯
