FLA7.26: Sunday evening straight to the Pechos, three days of training and then – flying!
· by Kai Kessler
¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
The last course week ended at the Pechos – and for those who had already arrived, the new week started on Sunday lunchtime at the Pechos.
Monday was all about the basics like harnesses, packing wings with a concept and so on, getting to know each other and training our techniques along the way.
On Tuesday we were standing IN THE CLOUD BASE 50 metres above MSL… that was weird… it felt like a damp autumn day somewhere in the mountains… 🤘😂💯😎
Yesterday morning: Mala! Last night: evening soaring in El Cuchillo!
It was windy… most decided on another training session. That was good! Things really clicked once more…
Last night came the reward – evening soaring in El Cuchillo💯😍😎🤘 Everyone finished with a top landing!!! Really fine!!! ¡Muy bien chicos!
Special highlight of week FLA7.26: Holger did his first tandem on Lanzarote with his son while almost the whole crew was up in the air with them💯🤘😎😍
This morning we went to Mala… and now – maybe El Cuchillo again… we’ll see and I’ll report back…
Tomorrow Reini arrives on the island – from Sunday we’ll be running the course together for a week💯😍😎🤘 So far we’d only done that together in Lüsen… I’m looking forward to it!
Other than that we’re doing mega well here, thanks for asking… 😂🤘💯😎 we hope you’re having a great time too – wherever you are…
So, and now:
¡vamos a volar chicos… Saludos y hasta la próxima amigos!
Lisa, Sandra, Petra, Holger, Matze, Dirk, Patrick………. And me 😎🤘💯😂
