¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Last week came to a good end: playing and flying in our “playground” at the Pechos and in Mala – ¡muy bien!
Since Sunday the new crew has been in our Casa – some are staying for two whole weeks… Perfect for reaching the training goals! That's why we've basically been in handling mode since Monday…
Monday with small wings in 40/45 km/h wind at Arrieta. Tuesday the same with everyone's own wing in 30/35 km/h wind. As a reward there was a short evening soaring session at Mala half an hour before sunset.
Yesterday training with everyone's own wings on the black beach of Tenesar. And right now we're standing at the launch site in Tenesar waiting for a bit more wind… It should reach us shortly, because once again, as almost always, we've got a gorgeous sunny day and the island behind us should slowly start sucking in air… 😎🤘💯
This afternoon we'll probably head back to our playground at the two Pechos😍🤘😎
And tomorrow it looks like too much wind to fly for now – but from the NW – so probably training on Saturday: NW wind in the perfect direction for the Risco de Famara… oops – now I've gone and written and said it out loud again… 😎🤘😂💯 Either way – we'll keep you posted…
It was a special pleasure to have Lenni Schubert (one of our spot-landing champions and a course leader at Papillon) in the Casa for a week! I was really chuffed that you came flying with us and were here! 😍🤘😎💯
Apart from that, we're out with the wings here every day, enjoying ourselves in the sun at 22/23 degrees Celsius with delicious food…
And the next weeks are almost fully booked too!!! Incredible!!! Thank you so much for that, and we're hugely looking forward to spending the remaining last third of our Lanzarote season 24/25 with you!!! The dates for next season will be announced shortly, because there's already great demand… Many, many thanks to all of you!!! Also for the many amazing pieces of feedback that show our offer is something special for you!!! 😍🤘😎💯
