¡Hola y feliz año nuevo de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
· by Kai Kessler
We hope you've had a good start to the new year. We had two course-free weeks here on the island. One week, though, we spent visiting family in Germany. It was pretty grey up there with you…
Since 1 January we've been back here, and here it is – well – like it basically always is! Since Monday I've been out and about on the island with a few pilot friends. The villa is ready for the next Papillon course week, which is also fully booked – many thanks for your bookings! 😍
The north-east trade wind is very stable at the moment, so while we still flew at Macher at the beginning of the week, since Tuesday we've preferred the flying sites in the north, like Orzola or Mala. Or we're up in the air for evening soaring at our second home site El Cuchillo, “right next to our villa”.
We're looking forward to the next three weeks with you here in the pilots' paradise of the winter… As mentioned, next week is already fully booked again and there's a waiting list. For the middle course week in January that follows there are still places left, so anyone deciding at short notice could still quickly escape into the sun to air their paraglider here for a few hours…😎🤘
We're glad that things are really getting going again for us after the holidays, and we're optimistic about the flying weather here! Of course we'll keep you posted here and send greetings and sunshine with the latest photos from afternoon/evening soaring at Mala…
¡Hasta pronto y saludos!
Kai and Team 😍👍🤘😎
