New launch sites I had never been to. I flew at Tenesar, including a tandem there with Heli. And for the first time I flew manoeuvres above the Atlantic, above those cliffs. Unbelievably exhilarating.
At Mala I launched by myself and flew to the beach. Once again Kai had so much trust that I could do it. My own wasn't that big yet. But it worked exactly the way he said it would.
For the first time I went to Órzola and did some groundhandling on the beach while the wind was really blowing. At El Cuchillo I groundhandled down below and did little hops. And there was another beautiful flight from Las Nieves down to Famara Beach.
Alone at the Pechos
To be honest, I had got myself in a tangle and first had to collect my wing out of the scrub. The others had already flown on, and I told them: Off you go, I'm staying here. Then I did it all by myself. Groundhandled alone, went flying alone, had fun at the Pechos.
For the first time I was responsible only for myself, without anyone there who could have kept an eye on me. A very special experience.
The evenings
Plus wonderful people again, dinner at the restaurant and theory at the Casa, when we get to sit together comfortably and learn. Once again exhilarating to be there.
