¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote amigos!
Phew – a difficult week here on the island… first the Calima had us firmly in its grip for three days. Rarely has there been sooooo much sand in the air…
And that after one of the most violent storms from the north had passed over and whipped up two small “tornado funnels”…
Then came the sand from the E / SE… We were still able to fly a bit in Playa Quemada and Macher…
Yesterday the new air mass arrived, it was clear again and in the afternoon the wind died down, so we could fly, train and enjoy for hours in Tenesar 😍
Right now we're standing in Mala – 25 km/h, straight in – looks good 😎😍🤘
According to the forecasts, the next few days still look like flying too and we're in good spirits…
The second-to-last week of this Papillon winter on Lanzarote is underway and the first participants for the last week are already lined up – we'll be happy if it “really gets going again” and will keep you posted…
Until then – cheers from the sunshine on the island
Kai and team 😎😍
