¡Hola y buenas tardes amigos!
The second week of this year is in full swing… We were mainly out and about in Mala. Soaring flights lasting several hours this week… in El Cuchillo there was “a bit too much wind” this week… so that unfortunately didn't work out…
Right now we're on the other side of the island – the wind has turned to SE once again… which means: Macher and Playa Quemada 😎 we had a look at the flying sites this morning. In Macher it was already “blasting” pretty hard… in Playa Quemada there was little wind from the left.
So first another café con leche and a handling session with the small wings for the feel-good factor and to put the newly learnt techniques into practice, and then hopefully two flights – first over the Atlantic and then on the mountain – we'll see😎🤘
Next week is course-free and I'm going flying myself again. The weather is simply a blast too: so far we've only had that one single non-flyable week in November – apart from that there's always something going on here and we have permanent sunshine, 20 ±3 degrees, and 4 x 2 hours of rain in all these weeks since we've been here 🤘💯😍 and – some of you are coming back again in the next few weeks – yippeeee😍
So then – we're heading “up”…
