After our winter on Lanzarote, this year's soaring safari continued in April: with a small group of six participants we travelled to Wales.
A successful start in Wales: Rhossili Bay
Our first destination and HQ was Rhossili Bay – and what can we say? Wales completely blew us away. We were given an incredibly warm welcome. The locals there really celebrated welcoming a German group of paragliding pilots and flying the various spots together with us.
Wales was simply glorious: unbelievably beautiful landscapes, incredibly lovely people, strong flying days – and of course always a fresh Guinness. 😎🤘We were able to fly some of the best spots. Some even went cross-country and flew from Wales to England – around 25 to 30 km. A thoroughly successful trip!
So successful that next year we're not just repeating Wales but extending it by a week straight away: from 11 April 2027 we'll be there for three weeks.
Straight after our return we updated the trip description, because of course we're constantly developing our trainings, trips and concepts. For us, Soaring Perfection means: keep learning, refining and perfecting. You can find photos from Wales here on haudichraus.de (opens in a new tab).
After that it was straight on to Ölüdeniz with Alev. 😍🤘
You can find pictures and information about it here (opens in a new tab). Thank you, Alev! It's amazing how brilliantly you always organise it and make it happen. For the end of May 2027 we're planning a repeat and our own listing for an S.P.C. in Ölüdeniz. Details to follow.
Right now we're in Denmark.
Our spectacular annual Soaring Perfection Training (S.P.T. camp) is in full swing right now – and the first week has already been hugely successful.
We're out training and flying every day. And we still have two weeks ahead of us, with a really perfect weather forecast. That's how it's fun. 😎🤘💯 Current photos are here on haudichraus.de (opens in a new tab).
Later on we'll be back in Denmark for another three weeks. We'll set up our camp again, and together with Holger and a small group I'll run our training camp here at the coast – with two flight instructors, plenty of experience and maximum focus on clean strong-wind soaring. For these three weeks there are currently still places left.
The 3 weeks from calendar week 25 next year will also be bookable online shortly. For calendar week 28/2027 a “Fliegerinnen Unite” week is planned here in Denmark to strengthen the community of female pilots.
In September we're off to the dune at Wijk aan Zee for one more week. Here too there are currently still places left. Next year Wijk will then be replaced by a new trip to England and on to Scotland. Preparations for that are already under way.
Lanzarote from the end of October
And from 25 October 2026 we'll be reopening our winter HQ on Lanzarote.
The first course weeks are calendar weeks 43 and 44. After that it continues from calendar week 52/2026 to calendar week 09/2027.
On Lanzarote I'll once again be running a number of weeks together with Heli Schrempf. We've come up with something special again and will both be fully in the course during the shared course weeks. Reini and Holger will also be back and running a few weeks together with me.
I'm already massively looking forward to all of it! And now: off over the dune with the crew. 😎🤘😍💯
See you soon!
