¡Hola de la isla de Lanzarote!
The last week of the season is once again marked by lots of wind – too much for flying. But effective and successful training on the ground with the small wings is possible. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all participants! Also for all the positive feedback afterwards on the strong-wind techniques learnt here, and just as much for the unbelievably many positive responses to the island blog.
As things stand, over the whole winter only two weeks were not successful in terms of collecting lots of airtime – that's quite remarkable and gives us hope for the next season here. For now, we wish you a good start to the new flying season – wherever that may be…
We expect to be back for you from the end of October and are already looking forward to lots of new and familiar faces here in our little paragliding community, in the winter flying paradise of Lanzarote! And happily before that too, at one of the well-known flying areas where it's all about training in lots of wind or about hours-long soaring flights.
Thank you very much for your trust and your encouragement – we'll keep at it…
In today's photo gallery I've put together a “best of Lanzarote” from this winter, and with that I'm signing off. Take care and stay nicely focused when you're hanging under plastic bags😎🤘💯 Thanks also to my team this year, and I'm looking forward to the next season here with you!!! 😍
Kai and team 😎😍💯😘
